Challenge

Smart Cases has made custom flight cases and specialist cases since 2006, in its own workshop in Sofia, for musicians, DJs, stage, lighting, video, exhibitions and any other equipment.

Its customers recommend it: 34 recommendations on Facebook and 4.7 from 25 ratings on Google.

Online, its traces were hard to find. smartcases.org showed a "Coming soon" page with a few old posts. The Google Business Profile sat in a luggage shop category, with photos that were not the company's.

On 10 October we asked ChatGPT who offers flight cases in Bulgaria. The answer named competitors, but not Smart Cases.

Solution

We moved the old website to our server without touching anything on the old host, and built a new website in Bulgarian and English.

The catalogue has ten groups by type of equipment.

From more than 3,600 of the client's photos we chose and cleaned the shots of 392 cases built in the workshop. Everything is quoted on request, and every case in the catalogue is real.

The heart of the website

The 3D case builder

The customer describes the equipment in words, uploads a photo or pastes a link, and the AI draws the case in 3D.

The builder has seven steps. After the drawing the customer chooses one of nine constructions, the wall material and padding, the dividers and foam pockets, the inside dimensions (in U for rack cases) and the hardware. At the end they see the drawing and a photograph of their case, and send a quote request.

Pockets are moved, turned and sized to scale.

The hardware is only what the workshop actually fits, at its real size and in the right place. At the end the customer sees a realistic photograph of the case, made from the exact 3D model and checked against it part by part.

The request reaches the workshop with a drawing, the sizes, a parts list by article and a file for cutting the foam. Customers sign in with a profile confirmed by an email code and a Bulgarian phone number.

B2A Brand Signal

We gathered the reviews from Facebook, Google and the muzikant.org forum on one page, in the customers' own words.

The workshop's history since 2000 is laid out from the old website in the internet archive and from customers' posts.

With B2A Brand Signal we prepared the brand for AI systems and search engines. The verified company facts sit in one source and read the same everywhere: on the website, in the machine-readable files (llms.txt, company.md, faq.md, a JSON catalogue and an open catalogue API), in the structured data and in the Google Business Profile.

We moved the profile to the "Manufacturer" category, with a description, the founding date and photos of real cases. The new website has run on smartcases.org since 25 October.
